Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board Announces Airlift Dates for 2025 Hajj

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially announced that the airlift of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise is scheduled for May 18 and May 20, 2025. This information was revealed by the Director General of the board, Alhaji Umar Labbo, during a meeting with Aminul Hajj and his team in Dutse.

Alhaji Labbo informed attendees that the first batch of pilgrims will depart on May 18, while the second batch is set for May 20. Both groups will travel from Jigawa State to the Holy Land, marking a significant occasion for the state’s Muslim community.

The Director General urged all intending pilgrims to adequately prepare for their journeys ahead of the scheduled departure dates. He emphasized the importance of comporting themselves as exemplary representatives of Jigawa State and Nigeria during their stay in Saudi Arabia, encouraging them to uphold the values of integrity and respect.

According to Ugamatv, a total of 930 intending pilgrims from Jigawa State are expected to participate in this year’s Hajj exercise, reflecting a robust commitment to fulfilling this significant religious obligation.
