
The Deputy Minority leader of the House of Representatives in a statement on monday stated that tackling insecurity will have to be a collective effort of everyone
He made this statement during the commissioning ceremony of the DSS training centre he builts in Awgu local government headquarters while urging the local government coucil, the legislature and people working and living in that area to give in a good relationship and neighboulines to the security personnel that will be sent there to ensure their protection as they will in turn protect them.

The federal lawmake also stated that the reason he constructed the DSS office is a way of appreciating the law Enforcement agency for risking their live in the protection of lives and properties.

He continued that a good enabling environment for security agencies will help them in their operation to tackling insecurity in the country .
Stating that” even if you don’t have the resources to help or support the security agencies but through your cooperation, good relationship with them , you will get their full protection and help them function effectively” he stated.
He went further stated some of his achievements and intervention projects in tackling security noted that he has always been at the forefront of finding a lasting solution to the country’s insecurity situation and has come to realise that cooperation and appreciation of the works of security agencies through provision facilities and a good atmosphere for operation, will challenge them to give in their best because to whom much is given, to whom much is expected.
“This are people who have put their lives on the line to protect us, we need to always give them that sense of belonging and neighbourliness attitude to be able to get the assurance of their protection.
“If this law enforcement agencies have a good atmosphere to work and they can work and sustain peace they can easily face governance and delivery dividends to our people.
“We hand over this facilities to people who are risking their lives in protecting us, we want appreciate what they have been doing so to do their work well.
“they have to be in a climatized environment and that is what we are trying to do here to have office where they can work and cordinate their activities.
