Imo APC, PDP fault IPOB’s call for election boycott in South-East

THE Imo State chapters of the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party have disagreed with the Indigenous People of Biafra on its call for election boycott in the South-East.

The Director General of New Media of APC in the state, Cajetan Duke, who spoke to our correspondent on Monday, said IPOB does not speak for Ndigbo.

He said that the APC was ready for the November 6 governorship election in Anambra state and subsequent elections in the zone.

Duke said, “IPOB does not speak for Ndigbo. Our party is not threatened by that call. APC is ready for the November 6 governorship election in Anambra state and other elections in the South East region.”
