IBADAN POLY ASKS SENIOR STAFF TO RESUME

The management of the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State has directed the senior staff of the institution to resume duty ahead of school’s reopening.

This directive was given in a statement signed by the institution’s Registrar, Mrs Modupe Fawale, on Sunday.

Those who are expected to resume on Monday are deans of schools, heads of departments, all non-teaching staff on grade levels 11 to 14, and those on essential duties.

The statement read in part, ”The management of The Polytechnic Ibadan has directed the senior staff of the institution to resume for duties effective from Monday as part of preparation for school resumption at a date to be announced later.

“All deans, heads of academic departments, all non-teaching staff on Grade levels 11 to 14, as well as those on essential duties are affected by this directive.

“This resumption is to ensure that adequate preparations are put in place for the school’s reopening and attention given to academic related issues on ground.

“Staff members are enjoined to wear face masks, use sanitizers/wash hands regularly and maintain social distance measures in accordance with Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Federal ministries of Health and Education regulations.

“Also note that others who are not in the category of those resuming may be called at any time if their services are required.”
