“Hon. Uchenna Okolo Welcomes Ndi Awgu Into December of Divine Blessings, Celebrates Governor Mbah’s Unmatched Transformational Leadership”

As the year draws gracefully toward its close and the spiritually significant month of December unfolds, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has released a deeply emotional, spiritual, and inspiring new month message to the entire Ndi Awgu.

In the goodwill message conveyed through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, Hon. Okolo described December as “a sacred month of completion, divine favour, and supernatural upliftment,” urging Ndi Awgu to embrace it with gratitude, renewed hope, and steadfast trust in God’s plans.

Hon. Okolo expressed profound appreciation to the good people of Awgu for their enduring support, peace-loving spirit, and unity of purpose. He acknowledged that the developmental progress recorded so far is a direct testament to their cooperation, communal resilience, and collective desire for a greater Awgu.

He paid glowing tribute to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whom he extolled as “a visionary leader whose transformational footprints continue to reshape the destiny of Enugu State.” He reaffirmed that Governor Mbah’s brilliance, courage, and people-focused governance have remained the driving force behind the accelerated growth witnessed across communities and local councils.

Hon. Okolo noted that December, being the final chapter of the year, offers an opportunity for reflection, thanksgiving, renewed commitment, and preparation for greater exploits ahead. He assured Ndi Awgu that his administration will not relent in delivering impactful projects, strengthening grassroots participation, and advancing the Governor’s reform-driven agenda.

In the spirit of the season, the Chairman wished Ndi Awgu a Merry Christmas in advance and a prosperous New Year filled with peace, protection, and divine blessings. He encouraged residents to remain their brothers’ keepers, look out for one another, and maintain peaceful coexistence—especially as many sons and daughters of Awgu return home for the festive period.

“Let us be vigilant, supportive, and united. This is the season of love and togetherness. As our people journey home, let us offer helping hands, open hearts, and watch each other’s backs. May this December bring joy to every home, progress to every family, and divine favour to our land,” he prayed.

  1. Hon. Okolo concluded by reaffirming his total commitment to the continuous development of Awgu, assuring the people that the coming year will usher in even greater achievements under the inspiring leadership of Governor Mbah.
