Governor Alex Otti Reaffirms Loyalty to Labour Party, Denies Coalition Involvement

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has restated his unwavering commitment to the Labour Party, distancing himself from any political coalition or defection plans.

Speaking during an interactive session with members of the Abia State Global Economic Council in Umuahia, Otti emphasized that he remains focused on fulfilling his mandate to the people of Abia and has not participated in any coalition meetings.

Responding to concerns over internal divisions within the Labour Party, Otti admitted that the party had experienced challenges in the past but noted that it fought hard to resolve them, particularly during its legal battles up to the Supreme Court.

“I am not looking for a place to decamp to,” the governor declared, affirming that his full attention remains on delivering good governance in Abia State.
