Four men abduct, rape Ondo woman, Amotekun arrests suspect

Men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, aka Amotekun Corps, have apprehended a man, Ibrahim Sani, for allegedly kidnapping and raping a woman.

The 19-year-old suspect was reportedly arrested in Akure, the state capital.

The state Commander of the corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, during a parade of the suspect, said the teenager had participated in different abductions for ransoms in the state.

He said Sani and three other members of his group kidnapped and gang-raped their latest victim, which led to his arrest.

“This suspect is highly notorious. He participated in many kidnap cases in the state,” he added.

While reiterating the commitment of the corps to fighting criminal activities in Ondo State, Adeleye said Amotekun would always work with other security agencies to rid the state of criminals.

He urged residents to support the corps with information that would help in tackling crime.
