Bravo is renowned as one of the greatest Mexican strikers of his generation and is Guadalajara’s all-time leading goal-scorer.

After kick-starting his career with the club back in 2001, Bravo went on to score 156 goals in 400 appearances for Chivas over three separate stints.

His club form earned him a call-up to the Mexican national team in 2003, with the striker going on to score 15 goals for his country over a 10-year period.

During that time, he was part of Mexico’s squad for the 2004 Olympics in Athens and the German World Cup two years later.
