A trending video shows a female soldier assaulting a 70-year-old widow over cow meat shared during a relative’s burial in Imo State.

In the video shared by a Facebook user, Evangeline Nwakamma, the soldier identified as Linda Onuoha was seen assaulting the old woman and threatening to kill her.

According to Nwakamma, the incident happened in the Oboama Ezinihitte Mbaise area of the state.

“Nigerians, imagine that this soldier here, Miss Linda Onuoha from Ezuhu Nguru in Aboh Mbaise. Popularly known as Bola. Staff at Nigerian Army Defence, Abuja. Came to her maternal home in Oboama Ezinihitte Mbaise to beat up a 70-yr-old widow over the sharing of family cow meat. A further look on Nwakamma’s Facebook page showed the family just concluded the burial ceremony of one of their members.

The deceased person, identified as Pa Dennis Anyanwu Nwakamma, died at the age of 102.

This comes a few months after a female soldier identified as Chika Anele, a lieutenant, was seen assaulting a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ifeyinwa Ezeiruaku in Cross River State.
