Its a day of celebration and a start of a new phase for the people of Anambra state as they inaugurated their new state governor, Prof. Charles Soludo which also saw the attendance of politicians, dignitaries and other citizens as they came to witness the phenomenal event.

In a congratulatory message to Soludo, the Deputy Minority leader and member representing Awgu, Aninri and Oji-River federal constituency, Hon. Toby Okechukwu congratulated him, stating that his inauguration marks a new era for Anambra and has set a standard for the rest of the country to follow, calling his election a break from the norm in the country.

“At a time like this Nigeria will need more men like you, not only in the state level, but in all spheres of the government in this country. because we need more learned, well travelled and enlightened men to deliver not just the south-east, but the country from the challenging times which we have been plunged in.

“With your experience as the former Governor of Central bank, I believe the economy of Anambra state will skyrocket for the better, which will in turn also affect the rest of the south-east positively.

“I wish you a successful tenure in office and pray God gives you the wisdom of Solomon and strength to achieve all you have set out to achieve and make your family an the good people of Anambra state”, he concluded
