EKWEREMADU, OKECHUKWU, OTHERS MOURN AS ENUGU APC CHIEFTAIN BURIES WIFE

A former deputy president of the Senate, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy Minority leader, house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu amongst others have expressed their heartfelt commiserations to the family of late Mrs. Felicia Gbazuagu.

The deceased, late Mrs. Felicia Gbazuagu was wife to a prominent Enugu politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Gbazuagu Nweke Gbazuagu (GNG). She died after battling with an illness at the age of 58.

She was, however buried on the 30th of September, 2021 at her country home, Akpugoeze Oji River local government area of Enugu state.

While in attendance to the burial, Ekweremadu, Okechukwu and others condoled with the bereaved family of Gbazuagu.

In his Eulogy, Ekweremadu stated that late Mrs. Felicia Gbazuagu was a virtuous woman whose legacy continues to live on, even after her demise.

“My heartfelt condolences to my friend and brother, Chief Gbazueagu Nweke Gbazueagu (GNG), his family and in-laws, the people of Akpugoeze, and Oji River on this very sad loss.”

“May our Good Lord grant her soul eternal repose, Amen.” Ekweremadu stated.

Having enumerated the unmistakable qualities of the late matriarch, Okechukwu shared his condolences saying, “I share in your sorrows and pains at this period. I pray that God will grant you and your family the fortitude to bear the loss, as we also pray for the repose of the soul of your departed wife.

“On behalf of my family, the good people of my constituency, I mourn with you, my brother on the unfortunate demise of your beloved wife.”
