- President Bola Tinubu on Saturday received a stream of notable guests at his Lagos residence as part of his Eid-el-Kabir engagements.
Among those who visited were former Delta State governor, James Ibori; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu; and billionaire industrialist Razak Okoya, accompanied by his wife Shade and their son.
The President, who has been in Lagos since May 27, has been actively engaged in official and ceremonial duties, including attending the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and commissioning several developmental projects.
Tinubu is expected to return to the Federal Capital Territory after the Eid festivities conclude.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message to Nigerians, the President urged citizens to offer prayers for the country’s continued peace and stability. He emphasized the importance of unity and purposeful action in driving national progress.
Recognizing the sacrifices Nigerians have made over the past year, Tinubu assured the public that his administration remains committed to securing their physical, social, and economic well-being. He reaffirmed his dedication to steering the nation toward sustainable growth and development.
