The Acting Zonal Director of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Aisha Abubakar, Esq., has commended Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) for its improved service quality in Enugu and prompt response to fault clearing.
Mainpower, a subsidiary of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC), oversees electricity distribution within Enugu State.
The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the Managing Director of Mainpower, Dr. Ernest Mupwaya, who led his management team to the EFCC’s Enugu Command to strengthen collaboration and build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
Dr. Mupwaya applauded the EFCC for its relentless efforts in combating economic crimes. He called for the Commission’s support in tackling these threats to sustainable power supply.
In her response, the Acting Zonal Director assured the Mainpower team of the EFCC’s readiness to collaborate in addressing the company’s challenges, particularly those linked to economic sabotage. She further commended Mainpower for noticeable improvements in service delivery across the state and urged the company to sustain the momentum.
