DSS Dismisses Rumors of Ongoing Recruitment

Abuja, Nigeria – The Department of State Services (DSS) has debunked circulating reports claiming that the agency is currently conducting a recruitment exercise.

In a statement released via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday, the DSS described the reports as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard them.

The false reports had alleged that the DSS was accepting applications for roles such as electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and carpenters, specifically targeting individuals with primary and secondary school certificates.

Refuting the claims, the DSS stated: “The public is advised to ignore any misleading or false information about the Service’s recruitment process. Disregard such claims, please.”

The agency reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and urged citizens to rely solely on official communication channels for accurate information.
