Bishop Benson Chukwunweike’s Courtesy Visit to Awgu LGA Chairman Hon. Uche Okolo Strengthens Church-Government Synergy for Community Growth

Awgu, Nigeria – May 19, 2025 – In a heartwarming display of camaraderie and shared vision for the future, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Awgu/Aninri, Rt. Rev. Dr. Benson Chukwunweike, paid a courtesy visit to the Awgu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Uche Okolo, on Monday. The visit, which took place at the council’s headquarters, was marked by meaningful dialogue and a mutual commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Awgu.

 

Rt. Rev. Chukwunweike, a native of Isuawa in Awgu LGA, expressed his admiration for the Chairman’s dedication to community development and good governance. During their meeting, the two leaders engaged in a fruitful discussion on strategies to improve local infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and security within the council area.

 

The Bishop commended Hon.
