Nigerian music star Davido has revealed that he would still have pursued a career in the entertainment industry even if music had not made him famous.
Speaking during an interview with PlayKisstra, the award-winning singer said his passion for entertainment would likely have led him to establish a record label or a media company rather than become a performing artiste.
According to him, even if he had worked in his father’s business, he would still have maintained a side venture focused on music because of his deep interest in the industry.
Davido also noted that his academic background in Business Management would have enabled him to build a career in the corporate world if needed. He said he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and believes he has the qualifications to secure a professional job.
The singer rose to prominence in 2012 with the release of his hit single Dami Duro, which launched his successful music career.
