Cubana Chief Priest Alleges Grammy Loss Was Setup to Force Davido into ‘Demonic’ Pacts

Nigerian socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has alleged that singer, Davido’s losing streak at the Grammys was a deliberate attempt to frustrate and make him bend to the will of some white music executives, who want him to indulge in “demonic” activities.

Ugamatv reports that Davido lost out to South African star Tyla in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammy Awards Ceremony on Sunday.

Reacting via an Instagram post, Cubana Chiefpriest urged Davido to keep upholding his values and never compromise for alleged “demonic” Western music industry figures.
He encouraged the singer to quickly move past the setback and keep releasing music and entertaining his fans.

He wrote, “Oyibo dey do everything possible to break a strong man so he can do their demonic sh*t with them but he will never do ot. Heads up brother, open the bag and drop another hot one for us. E no dey finish, gbedu na water.”
