The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Enugu State Chapter, has officially inaugurated its Membership Awareness and Sensitization Committee in a landmark move aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and accelerating the party’s membership registration drive across the state.

The inauguration ceremony was led by the State Chairman of the party, Comrade Stella Chukwuma, who formally swore in the committee and charged its members to embark on an aggressive awareness and mobilization campaign that will reposition the party as a formidable political force in Enugu State.

Heading the committee as State Coordinator is Comrade AC Ude, while Comrade Chika Idoko serves as Secretary. The committee is mandated to mobilize party members, sensitize the public on ADC’s ideology and programmes, and support the ongoing membership registration process across the three senatorial zones and all local government areas of the state.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Stella Chukwuma described the inauguration as a strategic milestone in the party’s growth, emphasizing that mass participation and grassroots engagement remain the backbone of sustainable political development.

“The strength of any political party lies in its people. This committee is a critical instrument for building a vibrant, inclusive and people-oriented ADC in Enugu State,” she stated.
