On August 30, 2025, the Coach For Hope Foundation was officially inaugurated at Top Rank Hotel, Enugu State. The foundation was initiated by Ambassador Obioma Helen Uzoigwe, who expressed her deep desire to bring light into the lives of the hopeless, the forgotten, and the marginalized.
In her address, Madam Joy highlighted the goals of the foundation; helping, growing, and establishing people. To mark its launch, the foundation empowered eight women, including widows and a woman with disability, all from the City Girls’ Alumni, 1991.
The event also featured an award presentation ceremony where several dignitaries and stakeholders were honoured. Among the recipients were:

In her speech, Ambassador Obioma Helen Uzoigwe expressed heartfelt appreciation to all attendees, stressing that the aim of the foundation is to help people in need rise again, stand firmly on their feet, and become established.
The inauguration was also graced by other notable dignitaries, including Engr. Aliu Idris, Ambassador of the Coach For Hope Foundation.
The launch of the Coach For Hope Foundation not only set a strong precedent by empowering women and recognizing stakeholders but also reinforced its mission of restoring hope and dignity to the marginalized. With the passion of its founder and the support of its partners, the foundation stands poised to transform lives and communities across Nigeria.
