Charlie Kirk’s wife Erika reveals she was praying she was pregnant after his death

Erika Kirk, wife of late conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, has opened up about the painful days following her husband’s shocking death — revealing she prayed she was pregnant at the time.

Speaking with Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM, the 36-year-old mother of two said she and Charlie always dreamed of having four children together. The couple already shared a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.

“We wanted to have four,” she said. “And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered. I felt like that would have been the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.”

Erika added that she now advises young women not to delay starting a family if it’s something they truly want.

“When I see young couples, I tell them not to put it off,” she said. “You can always build a career later. But you can’t rewind time to have children, and they grow so fast.”

On September 10, Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot during an event at Utah Valley University while addressing students on the first stop of his American Comeback Tour. Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced his death, calling him “Great” and “Legendary.”

A suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was arrested the following day after a manhunt and has been charged with aggravated murder. Prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty.

Erika has since received a protective order preventing the suspect from contacting her in any way.

A heartbreaking story for a young family — and a widow now holding on to her husband’s dreams

as she raises their two children.
