Burna Boy’s mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, has urged the Grammy-winning singer to consider settling down and starting a family.

She made the remark during Burna Boy’s 35th birthday celebration on July 2, where the singer marked the occasion with close friends and family.

In a video shared on Snapchat by Burna Boy’s associate, Richie 7, the singer was asked to make a birthday wish.

“I wish for good health and prosperity,” Burna Boy said.

Responding with a smile, his mother added, “Add good wife and children.”

Burna Boy has previously explained that he remains unmarried and has no children because he is not yet ready to balance family life with the demands of his music career.

The singer said he does not want to have children outside marriage or raise children without being fully present in their lives, noting that his current schedule leaves little room for the commitment he believes a family deserves.
