Building Under Construction Collapses in Ibadan

A building under construction in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has collapsed.

 

According to information obtained by UGAMA TV, the structure—reportedly owned by a rapidly expanding eatery—came down on Sunday. The building is located along the busy road linking Dugbe to Mokola, a central area in the city.

 

Sources say the property was recently acquired by the fast-growing food brand and was intended to serve as one of its new outlets.

 

As of the time of filing this report, details surrounding the incident remain sketchy, including the cause of the collapse and whether there were any casualties.
