Breakthrough in Nasarawa: Police Reunite Family with Stolen Newborn Son

 

 

 

Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have rescued a three-day-old baby boy abducted, leading in the Karu Local Government Area of the state.

 

 

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this in a statement released on Friday, confirming that the infant was taken on March 28, 2026.

 

Nansel explained that officers attached to the Mararaba ‘A’ Division carried out the operation in the early hours of April 3, around 4:00 am, following actionable intelligence that led to the arrest of two female suspects.

 

 

The arrested individuals were identified as 35-year-old Furera Abdulrahman from Rugan Juli and 39-year-old Sadiya Abdullahi of Unguwan Bako, Orange Market.

 

During interrogation, the suspects reportedly admitted to their involvement in the crime and further revealed the role of another accomplice who is currently on the run.
