Breaking: Former Presidential Campaign Chief Accuses Ruling Party of Opposition Infiltration Strategy

The former Tinubu-Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign coordinator in Zamfara State, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has accused the All Progressives Congress-led federal government of planting ‘mines’ in opposition political parties.

Marafa made the allegation on Monday while fielding questions on Channels TV’s Politics Today programme.

UGAMATV reported that the former senator had earlier confirmed his resignation from All Progressives Congress, APC.

Speaking on Monday about his resignation, Marafa said he had not yet decided which political party he would join.

He explained that he was studying the members of various political parties before making a final decision.

He said: “Which party am I going to now? Already the APC is planting land mines everywhere in the political parties, waiting for people – well meaning people that want to defend their people, that want to advance the cause of the people to come in and they will engage them in unnecessary fights in the parties.

“So that is why we said we are not in a hurry, there is still time. Alright, we are going to study the political parties, study the members that are in the political parties before we take a final decision.”
