Hon. Alfred Emberga has been sworn in as the new Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, following the resignation of his predecessor, Rt. Hon. Aondona Dajoh, earlier today.

The brief swearing-in ceremony was conducted at the Assembly complex in Makurdi, where Emberga officially took the oath of office.
