Billionaire Heiress DJ Cuppy on Marriage: “The Most Important Contract You’ll Ever Sign with God as Witness”

Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared her perspective on marriage, describing it as one of the most powerful unions in human life.

Taking to her official X handle on Thursday, Cuppy noted that she views marriage not just as a partnership, but as a sacred covenant sealed in the presence of God.

“Call me old school, but I see marriage as the most powerful partnership in life. Maybe even the most important contract you will ever sign with God Himself as the witness.”

The entertainer went on to say that her younger sister, Temi Otedola’s marriage to Afrobeats star Mr Eazi, has further deepened her conviction about the institution.

“Seeing my baby sister Temi become Mrs Ajibade reminds me that marriage is far from outdated. With the right person, it pulls you closer to purpose and builds love, family, and legacy,” she added.

Dj cuppy’s remarks come just after Temi released official wedding photos with Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi.

UGAMATV reports that the pair celebrated their union with three ceremonies across different countries.

The first took place in Monaco on May 9, 2025 a date chosen to honor Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday.

Two months later, they held a traditional Yoruba wedding at the Otedola residence in Dubai.

The festivities concluded in August with a white wedding in Iceland, where they exchanged vows in a  private ceremony.
