Benue APC Chairman Firmly Backs Governor Alia’s 2027 Re-election Bid

 

The Benue State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Benjamin Omale, has restated his support for the re-election of Governor Hyacinth Alia in the 2027 governorship election.

 

 

He stated this during a meeting with members of the party and other critical stakeholders at his residence in Makurdi, the state capital.

 

Hon Omale said the meeting was a show of unity, strength, and renewed commitment of the APC family in the state as they move into the 2027 general elections.

 

He said the essence of the get-together was to thank God for His protection, guidance, and faithfulness over the APC family in Benue State throughout the year 2025.

 

Hon. Omale said the gathering was also organised to appreciate party members, particularly youths and women, for their loyalty, sacrifices, and continuous support for the party at all levels.

 

He said party members should remain cohesive, as the re-election of Governor Hyacinth Alia in 2027 remains non-negotiable.

 

Hon. Omale applauded the youths of the party in Benue State who have demonstrated a homefront soldier-like stance in support of the APC.

 

In a remark, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youths Mobilisation and Illegal Levies, Mr Terver Gbanda, praised the party chairman for his leadership style, openness, and commitment to the growth of the APC in the state.

 

He described the meeting as timely and necessary, noting that it would strengthen the bonds among party members in the state to actualise the re-election of Governor Hyacinth Alia for a second term in 2027.
