BBN’s Tochi laments insecurity after road is shut down over kidnapping in Enugu

BBN star Tochi has expressed concern over Nigeria’s rising insecurity after posting a video from Enugu State showing cars parked along the road with no movement due to a reported kidnapping incident.

Shortly after sharing the footage on his Instagram Story, Tochi posted a message describing the situation in the country as increasingly alarming. He said kidnappings, killings, and violent attacks have become everyday occurrences, leaving citizens in fear while multiple incidents happen at the same time.

According to him, what makes the situation worse is how these issues are often minimized or wrapped in vague statements instead of being addressed directly. He noted that a nation cannot solve a problem it refuses to acknowledge, adding that security is a fundamental responsibility and not a political talking point.

In a follow-up post, Tochi stressed that Nigerians deserve transparency and protection. He said the public should not be left in the dark, arguing that pretending the crisis isn’t happening does nothing to make people safer.
