The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to a distinguished leader, elder statesman, and philanthropist, High Chief Thomas Onyeagwa (Idejiuno na Mgbidi), on the occasion of his 63rd birthday celebration.
In a goodwill message issued through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, the Chairman described High Chief Onyeagwa as “a man of rare vision, deep wisdom, and enviable humility whose life continues to inspire generations.”
Hon. Okolo praised High Chief Onyeagwa’s outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Awgu LGA, noting that his passion for humanity and selfless service have earned him admiration and respect within and beyond the community.
“High Chief Onyeagwa represents the true essence of leadership and community service. His unwavering commitment to the welfare of our people, his generosity, and his love for humanity have impacted countless lives,” Hon. Okolo stated.
Reflecting on their time together during his brief tenure as the Transition Committee Chairman — where High Chief Onyeagwa served diligently as Deputy Chairman — Hon. Okolo recalled his invaluable contributions, wise counsel, and exemplary loyalty.
“Those moments revealed his strength of character, his clarity of purpose, and his unwavering dedication to the progress of Awgu LGA,” he added.
Hon. Okolo prayed for God’s continued blessings upon High Chief Onyeagwa, wishing him good health, divine wisdom, boundless joy, and many more fruitful years filled with greater accomplishments.
