A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akindele Ayekooto,has disclosed where the former Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi will end in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, coalition.

Ayekooto disclosed that Obi would end as the Director General of the Atiku-Amaechi presidential campaign organization as against the coalition’s presidential candidate.

Posting on X, he wrote: “From the look of things, Peter Obi will be the DG of Atiku-Amaechi Campaign Organisation.”

This comes amid indication that a key member of the coalition, Atiku Abubakar, would be contesting for the presidency in 2027.

Atiku had vowed to go after anybody engaged in corruption if he becomes Nigeria’s president.

In a similar vein, Obi had severally declared that he would be running again for the presidency in 2027.

However, there are indications that former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi would also join the race for the presidency.
