The cause of the fire, which started at the car park, and began around 6pm on Wednesday, was not known as at the time of filling this report.

However, a civil servant who did not want her name on print told our correspondent that there were two outbreaks at the secretariat.

She said, “There were two fire outbreaks, one happened at the car park around 6 and the other at the third floor of the secretariat after the fire fighters had left. We discovered another fire there. I can’t say what caused the fire and the number of vehicles that got burnt.”
