Benue State — Ambassador Raymond Nago Asema, a prominent youth leader and advocate in Benue State, has reportedly been abducted by unidentified men in uniform suspected to be operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m., shortly after Asema returned to his residence. According to a statement by Emmanuel Slimchild Shishim, Chief of Staff to Asema, the youth leader was trailed and forcefully taken away by the unidentified men, who neither disclosed their identities nor revealed his destination.
As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement or confirmation from the Nigeria Police Force or any other security agency regarding the abduction.
The development has sparked concern among the youth in Benue, where Asema is widely regarded as a passionate and outspoken advocate for youth empowerment and community development.
