Woman accused of cutting her boyfriend’s testicle after breaking into his home

An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman accused of breaking into her boyfriend’s home in Ohio, United States and cutting one of his testicles.

Jeanita Hopings, 45, is charged with felonious assault and aggravated burglary.

Charging records allege that on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Hopings forcefully kicked open the front door to the Toledo home of a man and went in without permission.

The victim told investigators he heard someone break in and ran downstairs to see who it was. He did not have clothes on at the time.

The affidavit alleges Hopings assaulted the man by cutting his testicle sac with an “unknown instrument,” causing it to be “clearly exposed as a result of the laceration.” He needed medical treatment at the hospital.

On Wednesday, court records said police issued a warrant for Hopings’ arrest.
