Wike Defends Tinubu Centre Renovation, Says Venue Fully Booked Till 2027

ABUJA – Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has reiterated his support for the Tinubu administration’s decision to renovate the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, stating that despite public criticisms, the facility is now fully booked through 2027.

Wike made the remarks on Thursday during the commissioning of the newly completed Kugbo Bus and Taxi Terminal in the FCT.

He revealed that due to the overwhelming demand for the conference centre, the FCT Administration is now trying to adjust the booking schedule to accommodate a request from the House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review.

Further details are expected to emerge soon.
