Why I Accepted to Perform at APC Convention — Ice Prince

Music artiste, Ice Prince has addressed the criticisms over his controversial performance at the 2026 All Progressives Congress, APC, national convention.

UGAMATV recalls that Ice Prince faced backlash for performing at the ruling party’s national convention amidst escalating insecurity and economic hardship in the country.

His critics berated him for performing at partisan event instead of speaking up and demanding accountability from the current administration.

Reacting to the backlash in a recent episode of the Black Box podcast, Ice Prince explained that he performed at the APC convention because of his relationship with the party’s National Chairman.

Who booked me for that event? My uncle – Nentawe Yilwatda who is the APC Chairman. He is not just a random person to me. He is my real uncle,” he explained.
