When Leadership Fails: Social Critic Iguma’s Open Letter to Lagos Chairlady (video)

Social critic, Scott Iguma, has criticized a female local government chairlady in Lagos state, Omo’ba Adeola Alimot Adetoro, for reportedly commissioning generator, waiting room and buying SUVs for councillors while “failing to provide infrastructures.”

Adetoro assumed office in 2025 after winning the local government election held in July, 2025.

In a video posted online this morning, Scott said instead of Adetoro to make an impact by providing basic infrastructures, she is commissioning projects such as ‘’waiting rooms and generators”. Scott further stated that Adetoro who is “yet to make an impact since assuming office,” recently bought SUVs for councillors in the local government.

He argued that the local government area which he resides in is so dirty and needs repairing.

‘’If you do not know what to do since you assumed office, resign!” he said
