“What we witnessed was clickbaiters just looking for more money. I was falsely accused of bearing a fire arm” pastor Paul Adefarasin speaks in church after a video of him recorded in traffic went viral

Pastor Paul Adefarasin has addressed a viral video of him holding an object while cautioning a content creator.

On Friday, June 6, the head pastor at House on The Rock trended over the video.

The video showed him driving down while a content creator filmed his car. As he approached the person filming, he wound down his window and cautioned the content creator while holding something in his hand that viewers said was a handgun.

The content creator apologised and the pastor zoomed off.

Nigerians reacted to the video with outrage, questioning why a pastor should threaten an unarmed citizen with a gun.

Pastor Paul has now addressed the incident.

Speaking in church today, June 8, he said: “This is not merely an attack on a local church or a pastor. It is an organised strategy of the one that we war with. We donot wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers and princes, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places, spiritual wickedness in high places, and a range of about thirteen cadet of demonic hosts.

“So, the enticement of the enemy is always the love of money at the root of all evil.

“What we have had to witness was clickbaiters just looking for more money. I probably wasn’t even their target, their target was to make more money.

“I was falsely accused of bearing a firearm, pointing a firearm at an aggressive content creator who came withing personal distance. The only thing separating me and him was about maybe three quarters of a meter and glass.

“I do not have a pistol license for a firearm, I do not carry a firearm, and I pointed no firearm at anybody.”

Watch him speak in the video below.
