Wedding MC cries out after her driver absconded with dollars she saved for child’s school fees

A female wedding MC, popularly called Alaga in Nigeria, has cried out after her driver absconded with the bag of dollars she was saving for her son’s education.

Alaga Abisola Bamidele explained that she employed the driver, Ibrahim Opeyemi Gasali, in July this year.

However, she said Ibrahim recently dropped her off at work and then went into her home to steal the bag of dollars she had been saving for a while.

She explained that she chose to save the money at home due to her experience when she needed dollars to send her older child to school abroad and she could not get foreign currency from the bank, even though she had the money in her domiciliary account. She said she eventually had to buy dollars from the black market.

To avoid going through that again, she decided to save her dollars at home.

Ibrahim, who had learnt her routine and knew his way around her house, made away with the bag of money and is now on the run.

Crying for help, Alaga Abisola explained that even Ibrahim’s family claim not to know his whereabouts. She begged Nigerians who can help her locate him to reach out.
