War: US Thought We’d Fall Like Venezuela, Now It’s Stuck- Iran’s Security Chief

Iranian Security Chieftain, Ali Larijani, says the United States of America thought Iran would be like Venezuela but got stuck.

Larijani made this statement on Saturday during a live appearance on state television.

He said that the US underestimated Iran by assuming it would fall quickly like Venezuela, but now finds itself trapped in a conflict it cannot control.

The security chief claimed that America fails to understand the local context, leading to a stalled strategy.

“The US thought Iran would be like Venezuela but got stuck,” he said.

Recall that the tensions started February 28, when the United States and its ally, Israel launched air strikes on Iran resulting in the death of Iranian Supreme Leader and other notable top government officials.

The hostility has continued with several interchange of missiles and drones attacks, which have claimed many lives in the process.
