The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Villa Toscana Hotels, High Chief Frank Obasi, has commended the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his strategic and courageous decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the move as a masterstroke that will reposition Enugu and the entire South East within the national political structure.

Addressing journalists at Okpara Square, Enugu, on Tuesday , October 14, Chief Obasi praised Governor Mbah’s transformational governance and infrastructural strides, noting that Enugu has not witnessed such rapid development and visible progress within so short a time in its recent history.

He expressed confidence that the Governor’s decision to align with the APC will bridge the long-standing gap between the South East and the Federal Government, thereby opening new channels of cooperation, investment, and inclusive growth for the region.

“This political realignment is not just about party politics; it’s about positioning our people where decisions are made and where development flows from. Governor Mbah has shown vision, courage, and leadership that will reconnect the South East to the national power center,” Chief Obasi stated.

The Villa Toscana boss reaffirmed his total support and loyalty to Governor Mbah’s administration, promising to mobilize massive backing from the business community and hospitality sector for the Governor’s reelection bid in 2027.

“Come 2027, we will stand solidly with Governor Mbah. He has performed beyond expectations and deserves a second term to consolidate on the solid foundation he has laid for Enugu State,” he affirmed.

Chief Obasi further applauded the Governor’s focus on economic diversification, urban renewal, and youth empowerment, describing them as hallmarks of modern governance that are setting Enugu apart as a model for subnational development in Nigeria
