Unlocking Opportunities in the South-East: The Impact of Tinubu’s Development Commission

The national coordinator, South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), Mr Belusochukwu Enwere has expressed optimism that the people of the region won’t be lured into the newly unveiled coalition.

Enwere, who spoke in Enugu on Friday during the inauguration of the Enugu chapter of the group, said President Bola Tinubu had shown commitment towards the development of the South-East zone.

UGAMATV recalls that earlier in the week, opposition leaders unveiled African Democratic Congress, ADC, as the official platform with which to stop Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

However, Enwere expects no challenge from the coalition, as according to him, Ndigbo had seen evidence of Tinubu’s readiness to improve on the infrastructure in the zone.

The coordinator described the South East Development Commission (SEDC) as one of the major achievements of the Tinubu administration in the region.

“With the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), which is now fully operational, opportunities for growth and addressing pressing challenges in the region will be unlocked,” he added.

He charged members of the newly inaugurated Enugu chapter of the group to enlighten others on what the Tinubu government is doing for the zone.

He said: “This initiative was conceived to showcase the progress and development of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Supporters and stakeholders were drawn from Enugu State, all the local governments in the state, as well as all the wards.

“We are all united with a resolve for a better future through a people-oriented administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The strides recorded so far on the economy by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and notable achievements in education, health, infrastructure, housing, power, among others, should be commended.

“We know that with the president at the helm of affairs, the South East will be developed.

“The South East will benefit from the dividends of democracy and our people will be better for it,” he said.
