Toscana Sports Club Makes History with Unmatched Family Bonding Celebration 2025

The Toscana Sports Club of Nigeria has set a new benchmark in social club excellence with the successful hosting of its 2025 End-of-Year Family Bonding Celebration, widely ranked as the best in the history of social clubs within the region.

The colourful event, which marked the club’s Annual Christmas Party and Family Get-Together, took place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the prestigious Villa Toscana Hotels, Enugu, drawing an impressive turnout of members, spouses, and children.

Renowned for its philanthropic spirit, unity, and prestigious reputation, Toscana Sports Club remains one of the most influential social organisations in Nigeria. Founded in 2015 by a group of friends and well-meaning individuals, the club was established to promote sports, fitness, social interaction, love, brotherhood, unity, and strategic networking among its members.

This year’s celebration delivered an extraordinary experience, as families were treated to an evening of laughter, relaxation, and engaging entertainment. The venue came alive with elegant décor, assorted gourmet dishes, funfair attractions, and bouncing castles for children, perfectly blending leisure with class and sportsmanship.

Adding glamour and excitement to the celebration was the presentation of awards and trophies to outstanding performers in various sporting activities. The highlight was the presentation of the Snooker Sports Championship trophy to Chief Ejike Ikwuka, presented by the Club Chairman, Hon. Chief Nnanna Nze.

Other notable recognitions included awards for Best Football Player of the Year, Highest Goal Scorer of the Year, and Team Captain. In a moment that drew loud applause, the National Chairman of the Board of Trustees, High Chief Francis Obasi, received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, while Hon. Chief Nnanna Nze emerged as Best Team Player and Team Captain. The Vice National Chairman, Sir Darlington Ogochukwu Ogbonna, also claimed the Highest Goal Scorer Award, further underscoring the club’s deep sporting pedigree.

Speaking to UGAMA TV on the red carpet, the Club Chairman and several members, who appeared with their families elegantly dressed, expressed deep satisfaction with the club’s achievements in 2025 and optimism for greater accomplishments in the coming year.

A touching highlight of the evening was the visible joy and excitement displayed by the wives and children of club members. Their expressions of gratitude—especially as couples danced together in celebration—beautifully reflected the love, unity, and strong family values that define the Toscana Sports Club.

The event climaxed with the presentation of family gift packs and 50kg bags of rice to each member. The distribution was led by High Chief Francis Obasi, Chief Executive Officer of Villa Toscana Hotels, alongside Hon. Chief Nnanna Nze and other distinguished members of the club.
