UniJos Graduate Kidnapped by Terrorists Regains Freedom After Viral Assault Video

 

 

 

John Arum, a graduate of the University of Jos, UniJos, who was recently kidnapped by terrorists, has regained his freedom.

 

 

In a video clip currently circulating on social media, John can be seen with family members thanking God for his release.

 

UGAMATV reports that disturbing footage captured a moment when John, who was kidnapped along the Jos-Kaduna highway was physically assaulted by the assailants.

 

 

The video triggered outrage across the country as Nigerians lamented the worsening security situation.

 

A few days after the video went viral, rumour mongers alleged that he had been killed by the terrorists.

 

 

However, on Monday, April 20, the terrorists released another video, clarifying that Arum was still alive.
