It was a day of mourning as the family of Ngwuokeja Ugwuonah lay to rest, the remains of their mother, Late Mrs Florence Ugwuonah of Amebo Ibagwa-Aka, Igbo Eze south local government Area of Enugu state.
Late Mrs Florence “Nee Eze”, whose funeral was conducted by St., Mary’s Catholic Church, Ibagwa-Aka, Enugu was said to be a woman of great wisdom and patience who treated all around her with kindness.

Preaching at the funeral was Father Francis Chidimma, who admonished all that death was inevitable, adding that late Florence had finished her earthly assignment, which he attested to, through her dedication to God’s work. He charged Christians to repent of their sins and turn to Christ for forgiveness because it is appointed unto man to die once and after death, comes judgment.

Speaking with UGAMATV, her first son, Mr Charles Ayogu described his mother as a God fearing woman who mentored them in the ways of the Lord from childhood. He therefore promise to do his best by upholding the unity and love of the family as thought by his mother.

Her first daughter also describes her mother as a peace loving woman who easily apologize even to her offenders. She said her mother was always willing to help anyone that run to her for both financial and moral support, especially couples who have issues in their homes.
Enejere Benedict,one of her ground sons says, Florence took care of him from infant when he lost his mother. He prays she finds rest in the bossom of the Lord, adding that she is forever in his heart.
Late Mrs Florence is survived by 6 Children; 4 girls and 2boys, 24 grandchildren and 4 great ground children.
