UDI/EZEAGU PROGRESSIVE ALLIANCE (UEPA) suspends director general, appoints new acting general director following illegal actions, excesses of former dg

The attention of Udi/Ezeagu Progressive Alliance (UEPA) has been drawn to the recent publication falsely credited to UEPA alleging that the group has sacked its Patron and passed vote of confidence on Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna).

Ozo Onyebuchi

In a recent emergency meeting which was held on the 21st of February to deliberate on the excesses and illegal actions of Ozo Onyebuchi Ani, the group took into the report which is aimed at misleading the members of the General Public and projecting the image of the association in a bad light.

While being enraged over the events by Ozo and his cohorts, the group came to a conclusion that on grounds of allegation bordering on Gross Misconduct ranging from failure and/or refusal to open a UEPA Bank Account and to render financial account/report of the financial transactions of UEPA since inception till date despite repeated demands by members of UEPA, High handedness, Intimidation and Victimization of members while running the affairs of UEPA, Commercializing UEPA and using same as an instrument to extort money from politicians contrary to the aims of UEPA, Projecting the image of UEPA in a bad light; Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna) was SUSPENDED as the Director General (D.G) of UEPA and a disciplinary committee headed by Mr. Ashuke Chimezie and four others is hereby constituted to investigate and report on the allegation of Gross Misconduct levelled against Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna).

Consequently, they made it clear that Rt. Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi was never appointed as PATRON of UEPA and was never suspended in such fictitious and false capacity as insinuated by Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna) and his cohorts who do not have the mandate of UEPA to make such publication.

They reaffirmed and reiterated the appointment of Rt. Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi as its Grand Patron and cautioned that UEPA is not a political party and Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna) and his cohorts sole aim of extorting money from unwary political leaders.

Further more, they unanimously appointed HON. UCHE OGBODO as her ACTING DIRECTOR GENERAL of UEPA with immediate effect pending the report by the disciplinary committee on the allegation of Gross Misconduct leveled against Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna).

They advised the members of the General Public to desist from further dealing with Ozo Onyebuchi Ani (Banna) and his cohorts on all issues relating to UEPA else the person does so at his/her own peril.

Appealing to H.E, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, H.E Sen. Prof. Ike Ekweremadu CFR, Rt. Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi (Grand Patron), Dr. FSA Uzor (Patron – Ezeagu), Hon. Emeka Ezewugo (Patron – Udi) for their continued support, they reassured the government of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of their continuous loyalty and collaboration at all time.
