The 29th Of May 2025, Makes a significant history in Enugu state, as it marks the Second Anniversary of the Innovative and positively disruptive Administration of Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah the Executive Governor of Enugu State.

This eventful day marks an important milestone in the journey of  Enugu, in two years under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Governor Mbah.

The second-anniversary celebration which was held at Michael Okpara Square Enugu, drew a large and diverse gathering comprising former governors, members of the State Assemblies, the judiciary, traditional rulers, Local Government Chairmen PDP Party members, and the good people of Enugu state to celebrate and felicitate the governor on his Two years of outstanding leadership.

Speaking at the Occasion, The Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Uchenna Ugwu, commended the purposeful administration of his Excellence the Governor, as he reassured his support for his re-election in 2027.
In the same vein, Hon. Nnoli Nnaji of the House of Representatives pledged his continued cooperation with the governor as he continues the Transformative leadership of Enugu State.

ENUGU – Elder statesman and former Governor of old Anambra State, Senator Jim Nwobodo, affirmed his optimism that Governor Mbah would continue with the leadership of Enugu state under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic party; this is as he strongly commended the Governor’s tremendous Effort in the transformation of the state.

Also speaking at the event, billionaire businessman Prince Engr. Arthur Eze revealed the endorsement of Governor Mbah for a second term by President Bola Tinubu as he throws his weight behind the outstanding performance and transformation of Enugu state.

Meanwhile, Dr. Martin’s Chukwunweike, the PDP State party Chairman, reaffirmed the party’s strong support for the Administration of Governor Mbah as he commended his tremendous achievements within two years of leadership in Enugu.

In a heartfelt congratulatory Message to the Governor, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, the Executive Chairman of Awgu local government area, commended his vision and unwavering commitment to the progress and development of Enugu State as he reaffirmed his continued support for the Governor’s transformational leadership.

Speaking on behalf of returnees to the Peoples Democratic Party, former governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Hon. Chijioke Edeoga, and LP chieftains, vowed to work for the success of the Mbah administration, Affirming, their commitment to the ideals of the party, as well as their readiness to work with the governor for the common good of the party.

Addressing the Mammoth crowd at the event, Governor Mbah Gave a comprehensive Breakdown of his Achievement, in Two years of his administration.

The Governor expressed the weight of responsibility he carries in leading the state, revealing that he often loses sleep over the implications of his decisions on the people of Enugu

On the side of the economy, the Governor revealed, “that the state has increased the internally generated revenue (IGR) by over 600 percent, revived, moribund assets, launched investment drives, and improved the ease of doing business while laying the groundwork for agro-industrial systems that will feed, employ, and empower Enugu people.

Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration has demonstrated what purposeful leadership, guided by integrity and service, can achieve, From transforming critical infrastructure to improving healthcare, education, agriculture, and economic empowerment, raising the bar of governance in the state.
