Troops of Operation HADIN KAI, in collaboration with the Air Component, Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), and local hunters, have recorded significant breakthroughs in the fight against terrorism across the North East between July 15 and 22, 2025.
In a statement released by the Nigerian Army on Friday, July 25, the military revealed that several terrorist supply routes in Adamawa and Borno States were dismantled, leading to the arrest of seven suspected logistics suppliers. Seized items included motorcycles, food items, fuel, and communication devices.
The troops also executed successful raids and ambush operations in Gwoza, Kaga, Bama, Monguno, and Konduga Local Government Areas, neutralizing terrorists and preventing planned attacks.
Among those arrested were a suspect found in possession of unauthorized Starlink equipment and another with a large quantity of hard drugs. Additional recoveries included arms, improvised explosive device (IED) components, and advanced communication gadgets.
In a related development, ten family members of terrorists surrendered to troops in Bama LGA, while a major operation on July 22 resulted in the interception of high-tech supplies heading to Gamboru.
Commending the troops’ bravery and professionalism, the Chief of Army Staff reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism and restoring lasting peace to the region.
