Train crushes mother and daughter to death in Delta (photo)

A passenger train has crushed a mother and her daughter to death on the rail track around the Orhuwhorun community, close to Ujevwu station in Udu local government area of Delta state. 

It was gathered that the woman and her daughter were walking on the track when they were crushed to death by a train that was coming from Itakpe in Kogi state. 

According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred between 3- 4pm on Thursday, August 12.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command has confirmed the incident but gave no further details.
