n a remarkable display of community service and philanthropy, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Okolo, on Wednesday, November 2, 2025, commissioned a series of life-enhancing projects in Agbogugu Community of the council area.
The projects, executed and donated by Chief Tony Chukwuonu (popularly known as Tony Cee) from Akwu village, Eziama-Agbogugu, include a water borehole, solar-powered streetlights, the renovation of Community Primary School, Agbogugu, installation of garden chairs at village squares, and a free health outreach programme for residents.

At the grassroots, we are complementing his efforts through ongoing projects and initiatives to ensure that every community in Awgu is represented and touched by development,” Okolo said.
