The President General of Mdzough U Tiv worldwide, a Tiv socio-cultural group, Iorbee Ihagh, on Tuesday appealed to the President, Major General Muhammad Buhari (retd.) to assist in finding the missing Vanguard Newspapers’ reporter at the National Assembly, Tordue Salem.
Ihagh, in a statement also appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, and other security agencies to assist in locating the journalist.
Recall that Salem went missing on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

While condemning the abduction, Ihag tasked security agents to rescue Salem and “reunite him with his family and colleagues who had become traumatised over his disappearance.
“I also appeal to the abductors to release him without further delay and unconditionally as I call on Vanguard Newspapers to suspend its publication until Salem is found.”
The TIV leader also called on journalists in the country to organise protests until their missing colleague until was released.
